Curbside pick-up of bagged leaves, using the town-approved, 30-gallon paper biodegradable bag is available in the fall. There is not curbside collection of loose leaves. Snow Removal Ordinance
Property owners are required to remove snow and ice
from all sidewalks next to their home or business within 24 hours of the end of the precipitation.
The Town sends a sidewalk plow around on the major sidewalks to assist residents with this task. For more information, call the Public Works
In the spring, the Department of Public Works sweeps the main routes and hills that receive the most sand during the winter months.
Please do not leave large windrows or piles of sand along the edge of the road. The sweeper cannot pick up these piles. This material may be brought to the landfill on Route 9 / Belchertown Road and deposited at no charge. For additional information, please call Public Works
