We’re thrilled to receive so many requests for tree plantings from the community. The people of Amherst love their trees! Unfortunately, we do not have the staff or budget to respond to requests for individual trees.
However, we plant trees on the second Saturday of every month during the planting season – usually 10-20 trees at a time. And we’re always looking for new places to plant. If you’d like to suggest an area in need of trees, just drop us a line at shadetreecmt@gmail.com. If you can garner the support of others who are willing to help maintain the trees over the years with watering and simple upkeep as needed, even better!
