The Town of Amherst Leisure Services Department, LSSE, and the LSSE Commission recognize the charging of fees may place such an economic hardship on some families that they are unable to participate. The following forms of financial assistance are available. Due to limited resources, LSSE is only able to provide financial assistance to children. Families with children ages 18 and under may apply for assistance.
*Financial assistance eligibility is based on income and family size.
*Allow 1-3 weeks to apply for financial assistance.
Financial aid may only be applied to registrations going forward.
Annual LSSE Fee Subsidy *Available to Amherst youth for Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer or until funds are exhausted.
*Yearly Fee Subsidy Applicationrequired. Eligibility is from April 1, 2017 to Mar 31, 2018.
*Once fee subsidy is approved, online registration is available.
Afterschool Programs – Prime Time at Crocker Farm and Wildwood Schools *Available to youth attending Crocker Farm and Wildwood Elementary Prime Time After School Programs.
*Yearly Afterschool Subsidy Applicationrequired.
